Our ESOL [English for Speakers of Other Languages] Program is one of BPL's largest courses offering FREE English classes for adults throughout the year. For registration dates for the various classes offered, click the links below or call (718) 230-2466.

Medical Billing Certification

Registration for free vocational training in Medical Billing for ESOL learners starts November 13, 2019. This program is designed for Level 5/6 ESOL learners.

BPL's Literacy Zones and EmblemHealth will be hosting "Rolling Out the Next Phase: A Healthy Living Workshop" on Friday, August 21st at 6:00pm. BPL Case Manager Christina Reid, LMSW will be moderating a discussion with Dr. Mila Gauvin and Dr. Olutoyin Alabi addressing your questions on healthy living in the new normal. Tenant's Rights Workshop: Rescheduled

We have rescheduled Brooklyn Public Library's Literacy Zones and IMPACCT Brooklyn's workshop on Tenants' Rights during COVID-19. It will now be Friday, August 14, 2020 at 5PM. During this workshop, IMPACCT Brooklyn will discuss tenants' rights and updates to housing laws during the COVID-19 pandemic. They will also be taking questions.  Sign up HERE .
